I find stuff from the thrift stores have a yucky smell to them to, so yes I wash and dry too!

Wash and line dry...nothing survives this treatment! Line drying is what we do here...no point in using a dryer in our climate (hot and dry, dry, dry).

I wash even new clothes. When my daughter was young, she got a bad rash. After several questions from her Dr., we decided that she got it from some new clothes. The Dr. said that so many things are made in other countries and anything can get on them when they are made. This was over 40 yrs ago. So, I wash everything and have had no problems since.
