Oh, Wow, and I though a new one for my Baby Lock Ellegante was too expensive!

I've heard these go for about $300-400 isn't that nuts? I've also heard you can use a regular low shank walking foot or darning foot for the featherweight or the 201 which is what i plan to use. It would be cool to have this one since it's black and would match the machine but not for that price! It ended but did it sell? wow...

ETA: I just looked and it did sell at $385. must be a great foot... or someone just wanted all the authentic parts..

The auction says: SOLD FOR .....

I'm assuming that was the winning bid.

Gosh, I think all Featherweight owners need one of these.

They are VERY RARE. I have seen them go for over $400.00. Actually I have only seen them in pictures and only a couple of times.

I have never seen one of these or heard anything on the Singer site on Yahoo about them. All I have ever heard is there was none made for the Featherweight.

The only one I've seem for sale is $600, so this is a bargain.

I understand that the configuration of the needle arm makes the usual walking foot unusable on some of the older singer machines. So I think this must be a special item. However, I have also seen directions for adapting the usual walking foot for these machines on the treadle on website.
