    And just what does this device do?? I have 3 FW's and never heard of it or seen one til just now. Wow, pricey!

    It was the first Singer even feed (walking foot) attachment for home machines.

    This one appears to waddle along so it got nicknamed the Penguin.

    Unless I hit the lottery, or find one in a garage sale, I'll be sticking with the modern (cheap) even feed. :)

    I thought it was a bargain at 385.00! One sold recently for 700.00 and change. They are as rare as hens teeth. I wouldn't use it if I had one, I'd break it as sure as God makes little green apples. The generic one is good enough for me.
