I went to a quilt shop today and they had a Moda pack there with 13 fabrics that were cuts of 4.5" by wof. the total yardage would have been just shy of 2 yds. She wanted $40 for the pack! Okay, so it was a collection, but $20 yard is nuts!!!

I buy my fabric from my LQS. If I am going to take the time to make something...I want it to last. So therefore I would rather pay a little more and have a quality project.

My son lives in Tn and he tells me the cotton fields are really white this year. Will that make a difference in our prices?
He said they are white enough to give new meaning to "the fields are white unto harvest"
