Default Prince Harry got Engaged- Need to Make Another Quilt :)

Hi friends- Now that Prince Harry got engaged I need to make another commemorative quilt, as I did when William and Kate got married. I pieced a quilt watching the entire wedding celebration.
Of course my family all laugh at me! I'm an avid Royal watcher

It seems that Harry gets the best of both worlds- Royal but without all the duties that his brother has lol

Here is the beginning of my William and Kate quilt. It appears I didn't post the finished quilt:

the pictures did not come through but I would love to see them. What a great historical record this will be in the future. Imagine if you came across a Queen Victoria marriage quilt.

I'm not a royal fan myself but I suppose there won't be anything else in the news for a while. Good thing I don't watch TV. I just have to put up with it on my Yahoo home page.

It's up now but it's only partially done in the photo. Came out nicely. I like news like this- not the other stuff!

It's cool that they got engaged. I've always thought Harry was so cute. And, he's done such a good thing with the Invictus Games which were in Toronto this year so got a lot of press around here. Really inspiring.

Fun idea..... I see you had a different member name back then.... I enjoy seeing some Royal news as well, but don't collect the books etc. anymore.

Default William and Kate quilt (finished)

    Hi friends,
I posted the other day how I need to make a quilt commemorating Prince Harry getting married because I made one when William and Kate wed.
I had an old post with it as a WIP so I thought I'd show you the finished quilt. It's one of my favorites.
It was a line from Moda called Bliss and I thought it was appropriate.

Now to think of what to make for Harry

The other post is 6 years old. This quilt has gotten a lot of use.

You can laugh at me- my family does! I have a thing about the Royals lol

I think I saw MSQ had some Blues on sale, (maybe the Daily Deal) in recognition of the Royal engagement.
I did see a video of the two, Harry seems head over heels for her and he has his fathers support so I feel extra happy for them.

Your quilt turned out so beautiful! The colors are very pretty and the name of the line, Bliss, is perfect.

Beautiful quilt and colors. Nothing wrong with following the Royals.
