any really scrappy pattern will look good in 30's repros!!

baby quilts, doll quilts, sampler quilts

I am in the middle of drafting a block and writing a pattern for some cute little blocks.

There's a yahoo group that only swaps in 30s. If you are interested, please pm for details.

Look on pg. 3 of this link (towards the bottom), there's a picture of one I made.

Lovely, Ms. Grace! I especially like the pieced backing.

I am hooked on 1930's fabrics also. I just finised a dresden plate mixed with nine patches. It isn't quilted yet. My collection is over flowing..but..still I buy more...LOL

I love the 30's repro fabrics too and have collected a large stash over the last 3 years. Take a look at the pattern called Hanky Panky and Rolling Pin. I have done both of these patterns using 30's fabric with Snow White Kona fabric as the accent. They turned out really pretty.

I made a pattern called "Vintage Moments" by Marsha McClusky. It was beautiful. I keep my 30's prints in their own box and I can't get the lid on anymore so I should make something out of them. I also made a miniture Log Cabin from them. The blocks were 4 inch finished and the quilt was queen size. I made a lot of blocks.
