Your four patches could be used with a plain block same size and each row alternate four patch with plain block. I think that would be nice. Maybe look on pintrest and get some great ideas.

Jordan, you have confirmed my plan!

You did not mention if your 4Ps are light/dark or all patterned, so here are two ideas I really like. Not sure if I saw these quilts here or on Pinterest.

This one on my to do list for some 4-patch leader/enders.

Also on my list is this one, though you would have to make up some 2 patches:

Both of these are awesome. I especially like the second one.

Oh I sure could use that pattern for the second pic.
Wish I knew the name to look it up on web.

It's a modified Rail Fence. https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/stit...tch-4187119523. Instead of 3 rails, it's one rail and six squares.

I could not find the pattern, but I found a site that picked it apart:
http://stitchintherapy.blogspot.com/...h-4-patch.html

you could start with any size of the colored squares that you like. sew 3 together and measure. That is the size of the white strip. 2 strips of squares and one strip of background.

I must have that pattern around here somewhere as I just quilted my own!

I am thinking it was a one day mystery on January 1st. It sat around my studio till I recently needed something to practice on my new computer added on my long arm.
