I would like to hear from someone who has them - Until then I'm good
The first one is the most interesting to me: $25.00. Might be doable.
Might help me improve fine motor skill problems by doing some of the guiding for me. Humm. Aardie. |
I've seen these demonstrated at some of the larger quilt shows. They look like they really do work, but the price scared me off. Plus I don't do a lot of the stuff that they show. It is still very tempting to buy a set though. So far I have resisted. grin
I thoought they looked neat if someone had lots of money to play with, lol!
Brother has a foot that looks very similar. It is the blind stitch foot. Here is a link to what it looks like. http://www.allbrands.com/products/abp04239.html

I have at least one of these that came with my BabyLock. For sewing on the beads though, I perfer to do by hand!

I cannot seem to get into the site. It must be super busy or something. Can you tell me if these would fit on a featherweight 221?

Oh, that's weird! I had it bookmarked and it won't come up!
Wait, I'll try google. Nope. Also haven't had a reply to my order. Hmmm, do ya think we scared them off? |
Maybe their site is over the top from people trying to get to them. Meanwhile I have decided I don't need it anyway.
I have tried about 10 times, but I can't get into the site. I just can't wait to see what everyone is talking about. Are these feet new? Some said they had them 10-15 years. Can someone describe them to us? I will keep trying to get into the site.

I couldn't open the link. Is it the elastic foot, pearl foot, edge foot etc. If it is I have some. You can buy them separate. I only bought them if I needed them. They are used mostly in heirloom sewing or making clothing. They do work with ease.
I would probably buy these if I had not already purchased the equivalent ones which were made specifically for my sewing machine. I use the couching feet, open toe foot, darning foot, beading foot , cording foot and elastic stretch foot the most., Occasionally I use the pin tuck and felling foot, but have only used the eyelet foot on one or two occasions.
I wasn't able to get to the site creativefeet.com . But I just went to see about a walking foot for $120 so I can quilt on my designer1.If you know where I can get it cheaper please let me know. There are 2 feet in the package. Thanks
Lots of trouble to open the site -keeps telling you it is unavailable. The best way is to go to You Tube and put in the request and you get two demonstration videos that come up.
Yes, I am having trouble getting into the site as well. I also tried clicking the link and typing it in. Oh well, I probably don't need it anyway.

Here is the notice I get when trying to reach the site,

I have a very large selection of sewing machine feet, including that set of 3 Creative Feet. I bought them when they were first advertised many years ago. I have no idea how much I paid for them, but don't think I would have paid big bucks because I am a frugal gal and always have been. Now that I pretty much only make quilts & do machine embroidery, I don't use most of the specialized feet that I own.
I'm with Sewgray, Have had them for alot of years and never never used them. Maybe I'll dig them out and give them a try.
Oh yeah! I've just GOT to have that satin edge foot.

Hello! :) I have been demonstrating the Creative Feet and Octi-Hoops at the Novi, MI American Sewing Expo and was notified that due to the huge number of people visiting our site that it crashed from overloading.
This has never happened before and we are sorry that you had difficulty reaching our site. Please know that the server is back up and we are currently optimizing our website so it can handle this increase in customer visits. I am the inventor of the Creative Feet and Octi-Hoops, all are wonderful for quilting so if you have questions feel free to ask me here in the forum or email me directly at [email protected] I'm here to help. Also if your interested you can check out our videos at http://www.youtube.com/cr8vgurl Thank you, Clare Rowley Creative Feet |
The foot that helps with quilt making is only $25, I am going to get one and try it. We will see if it helps my accuracy. Thanks for the link.

Somethings to consider when talking about the price of our feet.
1) Guaranteed to fit ALL machines with a zigzag stitch. 2) Warranted for Life :) we exchange if you ever damage. 3) Made in the USA 4) Made of the strongest plastics in the world. 5) Each foot performs over 20 different techniques. So each foot is like buying 20 feet but our feet work really well. 6) Never - ever watch the sewing machine needle as you sew. 7) You never have to buy them again - they fit the machine you have now and any machine you ever buy. One foot fits ALL :) |
too much $$$ IMHO!
I met Clare and bought the feet at the Tucson show and love them. They save the cost of many of the feet I would love for my machine, but are too expensive to buy. I find they work just as they were demonstrated and are very simple to use. I posted the web site about a month ago for a woman who had macular degeneration and found it hard to see because Clare designed these feet for a blind woman. I love the Aqua glue that she uses, but cannot find it in any store and to purchase it over the net, the shipping is terribly high.--Is there any store that carries the product??? Just as the video showed--to use nylon thread to finish the binding makes it virtually invisible. The feet are amazing and wortg buying. I use them a lot.
The jury is still out here. Thought a little spendy, but I know some of the feet for Jenome's and Brothers are just as spendy if not moreso.
Hi, I bought these a couple of years ago at PIQF. They are functional and do work. Now, that being said. I don't have anything negative to say about them. I'm not raving either. But they do work.

I do a lot of stippling and they don't have a quilting foot, just some hoops that look like they would take a while to learn to use. But I am always replacing my free motion foot.
