Single strand, one tiny stitch hidden in the fold.

If I'm using hand-quilting thread (which I normally do) I use a single strand. If using general purpose thread, I'll double it.

I do the blind stitch. What is the ladder stitch? Will google it and see what I find.

I use a single dtrand of hand quilting thread. It's stronger than regular thread. I also use the ladder stitch. It's really fast and almost invisible

I use a double strand to avoid having to bury the starting point. Still working on a truly blind blind stitch.

Cheers, K

Two strands of whatever - blind stitch

I use one strand of cotton wrapped poly thread using the ladder stitch as well. I had one binding snap on a heavy queen size quilt that I used mettler cotton 50 wt on and decided to try something stronger. The only trouble I run into on occasion is the cotton wants to bunch off of the poly and I have to tie off and start a new thread.
