wow! I would really consider calling a lawyer! Good thing that was in your garage but it could have damaged your car! We have the same exact setup by the way... my washer and dryer are in my garage like that right by my car and the door to my house is right where it looks like yours is. :)

Sounds reasonable. My Fisher and Paykel washer spins at 2000 rpm's.

glad no one was injured. Please report make and model
so we will know what to look for.
That is scary.

Oh my goodness... what a shock... I didnt know that would happen to a washing machine... thanks for sharing.

Oh my! I don't think I would buy that kind again. I have never heard of a washing machine exploding.

Well, you think you've heard everything....and WOW, this happens....sure glad no one was in the garage when it happened...

Could you tell us what make and model it was. Did you have a load in it at the time it exploded. How long have you had it before it done this. I know mine spin fast and you can't open the lid once it starts going. If it goes out of balance it shuts down and beeps till I go and put in right. I've never in my life seen anything like that.....

Walmart has Pee Pee pads for puppies...you might want to invest in some for your washer...LOL

Before you totally blame the machine we need to know what she was washing, anything with gas, oil, solvents or that kind of thing. Could be the machine isn't to blame. Not wanting to point fingers or anything like that, but need to know the whole story before rushing to blame.
