It's a quality piece of machinery. And it came packaged very well.
I am very pleased with mine.

I looked into this machine when I first was interested. Great to know how wonderful they are. There are a few machines still made in the US tho. The Innova is made here, the A-1 is made here, maybe more.

Judi in Ohio, it is great to hear that there are still some machines made here in the US. Not to go off topic but I have just heard ( and don't know if it is true) that Gammil was bought by a Chinese company.

Wow, I had no idea. I knew they had the Janome machines. I drove by their place this summer but didn't stop. They are only 30 miles from me.

I have know the baileys since the 70s. Bought machines from them. We also had a sewing club there.Have seen the Gracie and played with it in the store. Always wanted one. Service is great. Hands on training given. Guess i better call and talk with them to let them know im still around.

I have a 15" Bailey that I purchased (slightly) used from a quilter in Kansas! I am convinced that it is a quality machine and is a good value for dollar spent! No bells and whistles, just makes a great stitch and doesn't throw a fit when the operator goofs!!

AMEN to the original post! I love, love, love my 17" Bailey and the customer service is superb! If there is an issue (which is very rare,) Chuck will take as much time as you need to walk you through it. There is also a wonderful forum for Bailey.

Bailey

Actually, I just bought a Bailey 13 but haven't used it yet. I still have to make the leaders for my gracie quilting frame. I would have loved to have bought the 15" or 17" but couldn't afford it. I found that Chuck was very nice and helpful and I would recommend them. I'm sure the Bailey 13 will be all I need for now. I am very thankful for being able to even get a long arm machine. I never thought I could afford one. Now, I just have to get over my fear and start using it.
