Baptist fan quilting
When free motion quilting a Baptist fan on my domestic, do I tie off at the end of each row and begin again? I can't figure how to go from left to right. Any advice?

Take a look at how longarmers do them. Rather then stopping and tieing off each curve, they travel up to the next one.

I love the baptist fan but have not done one.

I understand traveling up to the next one, I just can't find the path through the maze.

I took smaller stitches when ending.

I did FMQ Baptist Fans on my domestic machine and here is picture on how I did them. I did not tie off after each fan, simply travel stitched up to the next one. I could do an entire row without breaking the threads. I bought a Baptist Fan stencil from Joanns for my guide and to use for marking.[ATTACH=CONFIG]602895[/ATTACH]

my Baptist fans the arches come out wonky, I still try to do them :hunf::eek:
