I use warm and natural and it is fine to piece it.

Another Warm and Natural user. I just zig zagged two pieces tonight to make enough for a table runner. Love this stuff

Where do you find Armo fleece? I love it and havent been able to get it for a long time. Used to get it at Joanns. Ive been using Thermolam and Pellon fleece.

Has anyone ever thought of using old bath towells? Not sure where I heard it but have tried it and what do you know it worked and was way cheaper! The placemats were for a secret santa at work and we had a money limit!

I would use very thin batting. Fleece sounds thin enough. If you go too thick, things--like glasses--might tip over.

Me too. Sometimes 2 or 3 layers depending on thickness.
