I'm having the same dilemma as you! Thought I'd put narrow (2 1/2" ) solid border on mine and then do a sashing
With up- down all around this...um, kinda hard to describe what I mean...each single block will go one way and next goes opposite way all the way around border |
By the way....like how you used those colors together!

First thing I thought of was a small white stopper border and a floral that picks up both colors. Me and my Sister use those colors alot.

These ideas are good, but they may be more ambitious than I am. :) I am just ready to be done with this quilt. I think I will clean out my closet and make border decisions later. Thanks for all of the ideas!!

All those corners you chopped off, did you keep them? If so, could you possible use them put together as maybe diamond with a white strip on either side of them? I try to use up everything that comes off my blocks so no leftovers.

I say do a nice tan or brown thin inner border to help break it up then do the other borders. the brown will give the eye a place to stop and it will frame it nicely.

I would put an aqua stop border--very narrow and finish with a white wider border and aqua binding. Very pretty quilt--I love your colors.

I like it with a wide white border and a purple binding. If you want to get adventurous, you could add a blue flange.

I think purple would be a nice border.. or maybe do both the blue and the purple (line a 2" strip of each???) Very pretty quilt
