You did a great job on this quilt. How wonderful you saw it when you were at a low point in your life. Hope things are looking up for you now. Someone told me once to forget yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow. I am not being shallow about your losses, I have had major ones also, but we must move on. Someone else I loved who died said to me all the time "Suit up and show up" so I keep getting up and getting dressed and doing what needs to be done today. And I try every day to do something good for me.

Beautiful quilt! Choose to be free like that pony- speak it out loud. The Bible
tells us life and death are in the tongue....so speak words of life about you! |
So much sadness. I'm glad you found some joy in this fabulous quilt. That's some terrific piecing. Do you know if just the pattern is available?
|
Your quilt is beautiful. Hopefully, quilting will become a passion again. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Loving your dream of this beautiful quilt. You have taken the first step towards healing.

Quilting kept me going when my sister died suddenly. Your quilt has wonderful spirit.
I have looked for the pattern but can't find it anywhere. I think that my other sister would like it. Limey |
Sorry to hear about your parents. I lost my mom 41 years ago and my dad 33 years ago. I still miss them. I love the quilt and can see how it speaks to you

I too lost both parents within a week of each other. They had been married just a few weeks of 65 years! Mom couldn't go on without Daddy. Be assured that you will always remember the good times and it will get easier. Your "freedom" has started with this quilt.
An old Indian blessing..."May the wind always blow through your hair and kiss your cheek." |
That's a beautiful quilt.

So beautiful! Quilting has a way of calming, warming your heart, and giving you a purpose ... it relaxes me whether I'm sad or happy. It's really good mental therapy!
