Yes it is the kids and grand kids who sell these UFQs.
I have rescued many of them, I just hate to see all the work these Lady's done go to waste. They need to be loved by someone.

This one is not folded. It is just all squares set diagonally but very pretty and all hand pieced.

We hope to quilt the quilt tops we find along with the ones I make to sell for supplemental income. My HD is not sure if our long arm quilting is "good enough" to sell or for very much. We mainly just do meandering and what we call "lazy 8's". Guess we need to go to some quilt stores and check out the quilting and the prices on others.

My mom and I were talking about this today. She crochets all the time and I do not care for afghans so I told her when she passes I will donate them or pass them along. I have more than I need and some from her. The same with her quilts I have more than I need and some from way back I am sure my kids will not treasure them (5 boys) so whatever will be will be. I am sure there is someone that will be happy to have them. I can not keep all of them.

Send them my way. ;)

This would be great with a collection of fabrics or scrappy. There are a lot of images online from old quilts as it is an old pattern. Thanks for turning me on to this one.

Oooooooo FUN. I'm making this one too and I'm very executed about it. Thanks for posting that tutorial!!
