Just bought chair at Staples that is WONDEFUL and was just at $100... It is the MOST comfortable chair I have ever sat in!!!
My Must Haves were...
1) Removable arms (a must as far as I am concerned)
2) Back adjustable height wise.. (wanted back of chair, right in middle of my back
3) Back adjustable "seat" wise... Can bring back closer to front of chair (I am short legged, so this is a must also)
4) Height adjustable
5) Would be nice but not a must...Tilt feature so I could raise my feet up off the floor a little (for my foot control of course!)
Staples chair has ALL these features!!! yipppeee!!!!!

I use an armless office chair. It swivels, height is adjustable and so is the slant of the back. I rolled up an old towel, used masking tape to secure it around, then looped a bunji cord through this roll. I fastened this to the back of the chair using the bunji cord.
A physical therapist told me to save $... use a rolled up towel to support the lower back. My contraption might not be the best looking but my lower back is supported.

I have a computor chair without arms from walmart for $20.00. They have a few different colors.

Mine is an office chair, without arms. Adjustable up and down feature is important. Back can be adjusted in and out also. Think I paid around $80 for mine. Its great as I can roll from the machine to the ironing surface etc.

I have an office chair also, but since we put in a laminate floor, when I push on the foot pedal of my machine, I scoot half way across the room. Its a riot. DH is figuring a way to lock the casters for me so its easier

Mine is an ergonomic computer chair from Staples and I just roll it from the computer to the sewing machine. Was around that price when I bought it; but that was a few years ago now. Sitting comfortably certainly makes a big difference!

Ikea has a pretty good selection of chairs and you can try them out. I found one I liked with a low back which fits low on my back. This kind seems to work best for me.

After herniating a lower back disk in February and have moderate arthritis in both my SI joints, DH bought me a chair of my choice for my birthday earlier this summer. I picked the Koala chair and was just under $200 with taxes. LOVE it! The wide range of seat heigth, from low standard chair to drafting chair seat heigth. Has great lower back support for me, and also love the foot rest it has.

New to all this, have been reading lots, learning lots, now I figure its time I interacted. I have an unusual chair or rather a stool. It is a workbench stool bought at local motor spare parts outlet (males in my family are all in the motor trade) on sale. has like Harley Davidson motor bike saddle seat. all adjustable thingy's, back, height seat etc., no arms, good solid base with foot rest and wheels, great. No 2 son wants it for his workshop, no way - til my will's read anyway. Love all the chat you girls and guys have.
