Oh much more. I never realized the need for so much charity quilting and the comradery of the swaps is terrific!

Gal 07-15-2010 01:09 AM

I still quilt the same I guess, just don't watch so much TV!

Gal

Audrey 07-16-2010 02:47 AM

I quilt more. I get alot of inspiration from board.

ksea 07-16-2010 03:42 AM

I definetly quilt less because I spend sew much time here, but I have been inspired to get my sewing room organized and have organized a photo album of my projects and future projects

Linda1 07-16-2010 04:49 AM

I quilt a lot less.LOL

Deecee 07-16-2010 04:53 AM

Less!!

zactanls 07-16-2010 05:54 AM

Since I retired, I quilt more but I do enjoy getting on this board.

pollyjvan9 07-16-2010 06:54 AM

I do spend less time at the sewing machine, but for me that is probably a good thing. I sometimes sit until I can't move my head side to side or my eyes are so blurry I can't see the TV. I tend to take a break every hour or so to see all the new comments or to take another look at something. My computer has been on the blink for about three days and I really, really missed this board. Also, I have noticed I am reading less in the evening and getting on here.

DebbyT 07-16-2010 07:12 AM

I retired last year and Quilting has been a passion I havn't had time for. Now I have the time but spend too much of it planning from what I see on this board. I plan to dedicate time each day to quilting when I decide on my next project.

wvdek 07-16-2010 07:26 AM

More quilting, less paper copies because I save it all here in a file, easier to refer to my files here and I have you-tube or Missouri Quilting if I need help. I still spend alot of time here, but limit myself and still get lots done.

DoxieMom 07-16-2010 07:30 AM

I quilt more. I'm just starting out and I love this board! Although I do spend lots of time reading the posts, I've become much braver about actually trying out new techniques and am less afraid to make mistakes or have things come out less than perfect. This community has provided so much information, inspiration and support for me!!!

ICU_FOSTERMOM 07-16-2010 07:36 AM

It looks like the theme thru here is the same . More time online here than at the sewing machine . I am hoping that I get a grip on myself and my lack of self control. lol

I want to spend more time quilting .

At least now I know that I am not alone . Peace

calicocat 07-16-2010 08:00 AM

I quilt about the same. But the quality and variety of my quilting has improved with all the suggestions and sharing of web sites from this board. I love this place. I get the best information and I tell everyone I know who quilts to look at this site. I bet some of them are lurking right now.

quiltinggolfer 07-16-2010 08:12 AM

The same, but I have to admit that I read this board when not busy at work. Very seldom read the board at home, too
busy sewing. But I do have a lot of free time at work, which most people do not have.

tryitall 07-16-2010 08:14 AM

Same here! I finall got the bug to clean my quilting room and rearrange and get thinkgs where maybe I can find them. That will be something newLOL

tooMuchFabric 07-16-2010 08:40 AM

More. Good motivation, and such inspiration, it makes me just natcherly pick up a needle.

sew_meme 07-16-2010 09:31 AM

More - I just love all the information that I receive. Alots of new ideas.

Connie Merritt 07-16-2010 11:04 AM

I LOVE reading the questions, answers, ideas, hints, tuts, etc, etc. So, what's your question? Guess since I am here typing back, you already know my answer. Love you quilters. Thanks

Jshep 07-16-2010 11:08 AM

Me too

Panda 07-16-2010 11:13 AM

More. Finding this site inspired me to unpack my sewing stuff and get moving to finish my sewing room after we moved here!

quilt3311 07-16-2010 12:52 PM

About the same. Try to quilt a minimum of an hour every day. a great day is when I can spend 5 - 6 hours doing what I love to do.

EdieClay 07-16-2010 12:56 PM

I am doing more piecing, in fact, I have three projects going at the same time. I have found this Board to be tremendously inspiring and helpful. I see so many great quilts and good ideas that I want to try them all.

garysgal 07-16-2010 02:46 PM

about the same. I guilt, sew, crochetc cross-stitch and do some crafts so I rotate.

Roberta 07-16-2010 03:24 PM

Sad to say, less. It's too much fun visiting with all the folks on the Board.

Annaquilts 07-16-2010 03:26 PM

LOL I'll be quiet about this one.

SandyMac 07-16-2010 04:52 PM

A lot less, but I have a lot of new ideas for quilts :-D

Dee 07-16-2010 04:58 PM

I'm on here a lot.But like chatting with all the nice ladies here. I have gotten so many tip and laughs and good sites. Its worth it to me to spend a little more time on this board. I usually get on at nite.

GrammaNan 07-16-2010 06:08 PM

Less, but the quilting I am able to do is more fun, interesting and higher quality. Thanks everyone!

kwiltkrazy 07-16-2010 07:03 PM

About the same, maybe a little more, because I joined the swaps, and that keeps me going. I don't seem to get as discouraged.

lazyquilter 07-16-2010 07:17 PM

I think I would quilt way more then I do if I wasn't spending so much time trying to figure out how to get my signature thingy to work. I am really on a bender now as I see everyone else in the group getting it down so nicely and I am still happily but dumbly struggling along. And to think I could have already had 6 hours into quilting.. Oh well, tomorrow is another day and I'll pretend I never saw anything to do with this signature thing. LOL..

I agree with you completely!!!

Sew_Deer 07-16-2010 08:19 PM

much less...this place is addicting to say the least but sooo..... much great info.

Annz 07-16-2010 09:31 PM

I spend more time on the board than I do quilting but I also belong to a small quilt group and that is my motivation.

sosewcrazy 07-16-2010 09:40 PM

ummm... less. But if I can ever tear myself away from this site, I sure do have a lot of ideas and new techniques that I've learned from this board!

earthwalker 07-16-2010 09:59 PM

Definitely more, though the weeds in my garden are reaching plague proportions and the ironing basket has now turned into a mammoth unstable pile. There's a quilting project sitting on the dining table calling to me....so half an hour here and then...flip a coin and see which one gets done!

Must say this board is fantastic, so positive and inspiring, so thanks everyone...you are all legends!

newbee 07-17-2010 06:09 AM

I actually quilt more since joining the Board. I get such inspiration and am finding more time through the day to work on things. Even if I only have 15 minutes, I can cut out some pieces or iron something. I am also getting more organized thanks to the many tips and tricks I have learned here in the few months I have been a member. I feel so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful, inspiring group.

penski 07-17-2010 09:40 AM

i think i am quilting just a bit less , because i get on to see what is new before i go up to quilt and then i spend a good hour just reading all the new things !!!!

Same with me....here way too much, but have worked at the quilting more because of the motivation. Many more WIPs and UFOs.

Luv Quilts and Cats 07-17-2010 10:28 AM

I quilt less because I am on here more! I think I need an intervention. But it's too hot today to quilt. So here I am. Later I will read my book.
