I was afraid of that....I am glad that you are going to add more quilting. Be sure that you pin it well first, so that it doesn't shift or pucker on the backside.
I like my wall hangings to be as washable as my quilts. I live in a dusty area, some people's heating causes dust or a film to occur on everything....or even hands touching and admiring the wall hangings :wink:

Cute wallhanging. Even if it won't be "used" it may still sag and you probably don't want the critters to look like they developed a big butt. lol

Yeah, I was afraid that would be the answer, ignorance is not always bliss. I think it's better to be washable too. I think I'd better check into my LQS to see what classes I can take. I think I've just been lucky in the past!

I'm not even sure if the feed dogs need to be up or down for free motion quilting, never tried it, but there are alot of 'thread painting' ideas that I want to try.

Down for FMQ or I read that someone here uses some sheet to cover the feed dogs. Some older machines have a cover plate that is used for darning (or quilting).

This would be awesome to try some thread painting on :D:D:D

That is beautiful. You have done a wonderful job, so maybe a little more quilting will help it hold up longer. You want to keep that one a long time.
