I think it's the type they call osnaburg. Look here at some photos (but they don't have the same cute print yours does!):

Looks like linen to me with the design printed on, not woven in.
Lots of fabric calendars were made with this. Too thin to be a feedsack.

It looks like the cheapest muslin some of my guild members think is okay to put in blocks for block exchanges. LOL.

We are changing out our kitchen windows and I am going to use it for curtains. I can see out it however it is hard to see in during the day. We sit way back from the road day or night you could not see in anyway.
