I love kits but I do it both ways sometimes the kit sometimes I choose my own fabric depending on what I like
now I am going to send for 2 kits from keepsake quilting will be Christmas gifts to give away then they can have the fun of making I love to recieve kits as a gift

I have bought five - two of which were mis-cut or not on the straight of the goods. When you get it - open it up to make sure you are happy with what is included.

I've bought a lot of the Connecting Threads kits, which are really nicely priced. I haven't completed any of them yet, they are in the to-do pile, but I have them for when I'm ready. :D

my sister bought me one, she recently died, only gave it to me a couple months ago. I like a snow theme, she knew i love snow. from connecting threads, she got on clearance. very nice material. I like it will buy again.

I love quilt kits. I buy them on clearance and use the fabric for other quilts or to add to my stash. I buy mostly Connecting Threads quilt kits.
