I usually make my own, but sometimes I buy Walmarts binding.

I've always made my own binding. Sometimes on the straight of grain, sometimes on the bias, different widths, depending on the look I want. I use a fabric that's already in the quilt top.
|
I make mine,too. When I
do scrap quilts, I use leftovers from the quilt or other small pieces and cut them to 2 1/2 inches, sew together on an angle and press in half. Then I have a scrap binding to go with my scrapquilts... |

make my own....cheapest way.

I always make my own, cut 2 1/4" wide and pressed in half. I also always make it at the beginning of my quilt project just so I know it's done and that I have enough fabric to get it done! lol
