I never press my binding and I don't pin.... I like the natural curve of the folded material...

I was wondering if you are supposed to press your binding
after finishing? I press my binding in half and then sew it to the front of the quilt. After I have it sewn to the front of the quilt I press that seam. I also make sure and press the corner miters really well and they turn really nice that way. |

i don't press the binding or any other part of the quilt after finishing unless it looks very wrinkly

I press my binding before I attach it to the quilt. You do not have to, but it is easier for me since I sew it on without pinning.

I only press it before, it usually looks wonderful afterwards.

Yes, we had quite the discussion about this topic recently. I used to press my binding, but not anymore! It looks much better not pressed. And I don't pin, either.

I am with Peckish, since I read here that you don'thave to press I don't and I don't pin it when I machine sew it on.

I don't press or pin either thanks to a wonderful post on here!!!! Once washed and dried they look perfect to me!!! Haven't had any complaints to date from my quilt recipients!
