I quilt year round. In the winter months maybe a little more, but I do so enjoy hand work in the summer months sitting in my flower garden or on the porch.

piecing and machine quilting yes-hand quilting not so much. unless you can do it in a bathing suit in front of the a/c. lol.
Yep! Sit in the garden and hand sew or quilt.
Me too" once summer hits I am out of school and get into yard work ect. I still try and do some sewing but I don't always get as much done as I like too.
no, definately not ,too much to do and quilts are hot on you when working.
I like to spend time outdoors in the summer, of course, if the weather is bad, that's a different story. Sometimes I work on quilt tops in the summer and then quilt them in the winter.
Getting ready for daughter's wedding here and I have not sewn in weeks, maybe a couple of months. The heat is so bad here that by early evening we are all exhausted and that time is when I would have spent on my machine, but just too wilty.

Too Hot & HUMID here to go out in the summer. Husband has breathing problems.
