I am retired and quilt just as much in summer as I do in winter - mostly because my house is air condidtioned.

[ I hate to wish for a rainy day, but that's the only way to stay inside and sew. Am i the only one????]
I quilt all year round. I always have something to do! That being said I am thinking like you. We have a huge kitchen renovation starting and my sewing time has decreased already! I know I will not get anything done but I will start again after I have a great new kitchen! Luann |

Springtime on StL is nice so I'm out getting the yard ready for summer. We've been under a heat advisory since Sat - the heat actually gives me time to quilt, and I mean quilt tops that have been sitting for some time now.

I have a machine that I set up out on the patio and can enjoy the nice summer weather and sew at the same time. The patio is a great place to lay out blocks.

No - more time in the garden & doing outdoor activities.
Montana winters lend themselves to indoor projects like quilting. |

I tend to quilt more in the winter but I always manage to start on a quilt sometime during the summer months that way I am on my way for when the winter goes nuts.
HAPPY QUILTING :-) :-) |
