Thank you all. I am known to be a mrs. perfect when it comes to anything related to art, or sewing, and being off just ever so slightly bothered me a little bit. Like I said, from looking at it, you don't notice, if you look really close, like nose level then you do. I am going to be tying it, so some of those slight imperfections are going to be covered anyway.
Thank you all. This is my first quilt on the sewing machine, the last 3 I did all by hand, as they were puff quilts |
We are our worst critics , I'll ure the old attige "won't be seen on a galloping horse". No matter what you decide to do , it will be beautiful .

That was awfully sweet of you hubby to say that....But you know what? He is absolutely right!!!! We do this out of LOVE and having fun. I'm sure when you get the other rows on there you won't be able to notice it. And I commend you on even doing the Bargello, it scare's me.

awww....u have a great hubby!!!!!

Don't worry..i heard somewhere that a true "handmade" quilt had at least one error in it. Otherwise it would be just like a store bought, manufactured one!

1. 4th quilt--give yourself a break.
2. Can you show a picture, so we really know what you are saying? |
Personally I know I'm not perfect and don't expect my quilts to be. I can live with a small error. If it effects the finished quilt I will redo it.
|
I'd finish piecing the top, being extra careful to line things up as you go. When the top's done, take a second look at the "problem" areas and if they still bother you, then you may want to make adjustments. Just consider this a lesson in machine piecing.

I have made more than 4 quilts and I still have some things off a smidge and sometimes more than a smidge. If I hate it I fix it. I do think you might be too hard on yourself.

You're hubby is right.
