Don't sweat the small stuff. A quilt is a statement
of love and caring for the person who will receive it.
That person will not nit/pick your quilt apart. Relax
and enjoy your work. The person making the quilt is always a tougher critic than anyone else can ever be. Betty Lee

I tell people if they want a "perfect" quilt to go buy one from Wal-Mart! LOL I have had to say to myself a little boo boo is ok. Now, if it is drastic, I will redo it.

More then correct....finish it and "only" you know where that mistake is at. Been there and done that...waiting for pictures :)

Quilts are made with Love not perfection . Only God is perfect. We all learn from our goofs . I look at some of mine and laugh at them . Because now after many more goofs I know what not to do. HAHA LOL

Don't tell and it probably won't be noticed. Your hubby is right...........no one is perfect!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Things will get better. Keep practicing.

Before I even read the post, I said "Yes." If you have to ask, then, yes, you're being too hard on yourself.

With that said, you need to decide how much imperfection you can tolerate. I expect more from myself now than I did when I first started, and if I think I've done something sloppily, then I'll rip it out and redo it. If I've worked hard on something, but it's still not right, I let it go. It's supposed to be fun. I doubt anyone will know about this imperfection but you. Still, if you think you won't be happy with it, then it's worth redoing. In my experience, small flaws are hard to see when looking at an entire quilt.
