I have been looking for a while for the star pattern but I cannot find this particular one. Does anyone know what it is? I thought it was an amish star but am not sure. thanks

Only interested in the star part of the quilt

I think it's called a 'feathered star'. Don't have the pattern but look at this link.

I see it has the typical feathers, but the star is completely different from any 'feathered star' pattern I've done or seen. I really like this one!
I'm hoping someone will come up with a name. Looks like it could be strip pieced??

Or just google Amish star quilt pattern you'll come up with a lot of different ones so you'll have to choose which one you want.
Hope this helps some...

Looks like something Judy Martin would do.

It looks like the lone star that is in one of my books. It looks like the color placement is creating the illusion of the diamond tips. My book is Singer, Quilting by Machine. In case you have it you can look on page 18./Regards, Dorothy
