well, I don't know if my first reply went to the site or not.....what I was trying to say is that you might consider taking your piece to a large fabric store where they have several fabrics that might match and compare......I'm for not mixing batiks and other fabrics at this point.....Marion

I think it may be too dark without it. Include it, it works great with the other fabrics.

It looks as though it belongs. I made a similar type of quilt, using fabrics my son picked out, and one was a print. It was for him, so if it was good enough for him, I was okay with it. The quilt will be beautiful.

I went to the LQS and the batiks she had ordered were not in yet. So that was my sign, lol. I went home and finished sewing my blocks. I now have half of what I need. I've done so much froggin' on these blocks! Now to get to the rest of them. Thanks for all the answers to my post.
