on the "Quilt" drop down menu select "New Quilt" --> "One patch quilt"

The layout tab of "one patch quilt" will let you change the Patch Style in the pop-up box to anything from hexagons, diamonds, tumblers, etc as well as control height and width of the patch.

Switching to the layer 1 tab will let you experiment with colorings.

Hope that helps!

This is just what I needed to know. Thanks so very much!

Oh That's fantastic!! Thanks so much. I have been thinking of the thousand pyramids and it's there. You are wonderful for telling us this. I just recently drew the French Braid and it took 7 tries to get it right. Now I have something new to play with.

EQ has so many great features. Most are not in the Help file at all unless you know what that feature will be listed under. Tumbler block is not in the help file when searched. This leads to frustration to many users. Usually I Google how to ____ in EQ and find the answer online.

Thanks for this thread - will try this also. I'm always learning something new from this forum.

Rhonda on here has lots of tutorials worth viewing. She's great too.
