You all wound up helping me too. I have to make 2 quilts, quickly. Thought I would do the d9p for one and now I'm thinking Yellow Brick Road for the other. Have fqs so I'm ready to go Thanks for all the suggestions to me also.

what about Yellow Brick Road? easy, quick, and uses fat quarters.

It's my favorite for quick & easy, but I also am starting to like the stuff over at the Moda Bake Shop. I'm not sure how to search for just the FQ patterns (does anyone else know how?) but there are dozens of really good ones here!

I hear you ! God knows how many I have, oh well, too late now. I do love them even though I don't know what I'll be doing with them yet.

Had to chuckle when I read this post.........I know that I have lots of fat quarters..........sooooo I went and counted what I had (all in a special area) and came up with 1085. Most of them are one of a kind........not many duplicates. Now, what am I going to do with all of them? Don't know, maybe I'll just treat them like art...and enjoy looking at them. :):)

I have quite a few fat quarter books by M'Liss Rae Hawley that just need 7 or 8 fat quarters, border fabric and sometime background fabric. She has some awesome quilts.

Has anyone mentioned the Wickedly Easy Quilt? http://www.byannie.com/media/images/...s_patterns.pdf

It is a good one!

Almost all my stash is made up of Fat Quarters. I buy big pieces for the back and 1 1/4 pieces for borders. If I want the sashing all the same I might need more for that. I devide the stack up into light and darks and then color groups and do pretty much any pattern. The first quilt has additonal sashing and border fabrics of the same fabric as my dauhgter in law was not as comfortable with all scrappy quilts. This along with the setting triangles being all the same colors gave it enough uniformity for her.

Anna, your quilts are amazing! Inspiration for all of us on how to use our fat quarters.

I suggest you go to the Kansas Troubles website for ideas. I'm a huge KT fan...just picked up the new for Fall charm squares packet Harvest Moon. I'm anxious to turn it into a table runner if anyone has any suggestions for a pattern.

Yellow brick road is the one that comes to mind...

Fat quarters that are Kansas Troubles? I thought KT was quilt block pattern.
