I try not to let it get too bad, but that's my opinion!

When I stop during making something, I just close the door. Once I am finished with the project, I staighten up so I can start fresh on the next project.

my sewing room s a mess. I keep telling myself I am going to clean it up when I finish this project. Ha! never happens. I am going to have to clean some before my next project my cutting table is covered with stuff and there is no room for a big cutting project.

My sewing room also has to double as a guest room, so, it acquires piles and snips and scraps and pins on the floor and all manner of detritus....until I know that someone is coming to stay for a visit, then... oh my, the mess has to be hidden, put up , organized and swept up. Phew, I am tired just thinking about it.

I clean up after I am finished using the pieces that are out. I really am bothered by complete chaos.

I try and tidy up the sewing area after a project, so I don't get old fabric pieces mixed in with what I'm doing. As far as the rest of the house, I always say I hate to have to wipe up a spill from the floor because there will be a CLEAN spot! I'm not the best housekeeper!

I generally try to clean up after each project. I guess because I'm such a messy sewer and have such a small room (8x10) that serves multiple purposes I just have to have a 'jumping off' point for each project. Mind you, during a project - unless people are staying over - I'm fortunate enough to be able to just shut the door and leave everything where it is mid-project.

And trust me I seriously doubt you are a hoarder. I've known a family like that. You don't even want to know what a disaster that was!

I clean up each day.I can't stand a messing sewing room.

I am running for president of the slob club. It is the start of craft fair season and my house looks pretty messy.
