Good for you! I made 6 after your original posting and plan to make more for stocking stuffers this year. I added the suggestion of another poster and boxed the ends. They are so much fun to make and really made me feel productive when I was procrastinating on a larger project.

I made 60 of these for our Christmas boxes at church. I made them last year for our church members

I read your first post about making them but haven't yet. I need to. They seem like something fun and easy to do. I am thanking you for sharing with all of us you easy way of making them. Usually I don't go for craftsy ideas because they have so many steps involved, but not yours. I will try and make a few today so I get the hang of it. It would be a perfect gift "just" to give someone.

Thanks so much for the idea. When you posted about them before I got out some scraps and sewed one up. They were so fast and cute I was hooked. I made some to put into stockings and one for each of the girls at the office for Christmas. Thanks again.
And you're just going to quit there? LOL, I swear, I'm not making more! |
Unless they ALL sell and then you will need one for yourself :)

It is all your fault! You got me making them too...but not that many!!!!! I just did 7 one day for about an hour or so...it was fun! Made a little assembly line and whipped them out. I think I will make some more when I get the urge again...great to give to so many different people at Christmas.

OK, now you all have my attention. Is there a pattern available for free? Where can I see samples? Man, all I need is one more project. Thanks Look forward to seeing if I can make these. BrendaK

Yep, a still photo tute is here on the net---------but I'm not good at finding stuff. SOMEBODY, point the way! I've increase the sizes of the lining to 6" x 9" and the outer shell to 6" x 7". The tissue packets are a bit loose in this size, but the center doesn't gap open. (don't panic-----------the measurements are right. You'll see.) |

This pattern is very easy to follow. thanks, feffertim |
