Could you please help me out. What does putting it on muslin mean? I don't know at all...???????

I think they're referring to using muslin to sew pieces of material to. Sorta like paper piecing except using muslin as your foundation so you don't have to tear off papers like you do when you paper piece. I've used muslin as a foundation for string pieced quilts. Makes for a heavier quilt because you have the top sewed to muslin, then batting, then backing.

Could I ask why they are called scrappy quilts? Is it because they are made from scraps or has a certain look. I am new at this quilting so a lot of things yall say, I just don't understand.

in most instances it IS because they're made from left over scraps but sometimes, we just like to include a lot of different fabrics in out quilts and we buy lots of different material just because we like the look. In the olden days our grandmothers made scrap quilts out of material left over from making clothes.

Nice work on this! I think I'd add a border so there aren't so many edge seams when on the longarm. Jmho~
