WHAT SIZE AND BRAND ARE YOU USING, I USED THE DRITZ PLASTIC ONES WITH TWO LAYERS OF FUSIBLE FLEECE AND FABRIC, THEY WERE HARD TO SNAP BUT THEY NEVER CAME OFF

SAW YOUR BAG, ITS THE SAME ONE I MADE, MAYBE YOU JUST DIDN'T USE ENOUGH FORCE BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE TO SUPERGLUE MINE

Hi Dolphyngyrl! You must have SUPER STRENGTH!!! I tried to press those things together - they'd snap and them POP right off! (sounds like a cereal  ) They were Dritz alright... guess I just need YOU next time! It's really a cute bag, though.

If you have a sign shop in your area they will put in professional ones for about a $1.00 each.

Great idea!! Grommets drive me nuts trying to get them to stay closed!

I have done a few of these (and have the stuff to do many more, lol) and after my first one I used "fray check" on the little round cuts. Had some fraying on the first one that kept popping the grommet off. I do like the super glue idea too!

I have a friend that has been making bags and using the large grommets also. Her bags the fabric pulling out from under the grommet and the grommets pop off easily. They snap together when she puts them on the purse but don't seem to hold tight together afterwards. I am trying to help her figure out a way to solve this problem, but not sure what to tell her. Maybe the super glue would work for her. Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Thanks

I just saw a suggestion ( I'm not sure where) to sew a line of stitching around the hole after it is cut to hold everything together. I think that will help, but I'll still use glue also.

Thank you, I will tell her that. I know she is going to appreciate any help that we can give her. Thanks again.
