I wonder if there are different manufacturers! I've tried them and my sister in South Carolina tried them and neither of us could find any that would cut worth a darn!! Wish I we had gotten some from "the good batch!"

One I could not even get out of the package because the plastic was melted to it. Cheap is cheap and I don't have a lot of sewing time. The time I spent trying really hard to get these to work just took away from my precious sewing time. Not worth it to me and not worth it to keep trying. (I do love the board and have gotten many good tips here).

It just seemed like some were trying to make you feel bad because you didn't like them. Just my opinion.

The point wasnt that she didn't like the blades - some have good luck with them and some don't, whatever - I think issue was taken with the line about taking tips from the board in general.

I'm with you. I bought 4 pkg and not one blade would cut.

I finally got a chance to buy some of the blades at the Harbor freights and I tried one as soon as I got home, just to try it and the one I put in, worked great. Cut real nice and hopefully the other ones will work as well. It's a great deal. Sorry for the ones that didn't work so well for them.

One more thought. I return my used blades to LP Sharp along with a check and they send me brand new blades in exchange http://lpsharp.com/3.html. The prices are excellent ($3 or new Olfa for example) and the added benefit is that I am able to recycle the old blades instead of throwing them away.[/QUOTE]

Oh my goodness!! I never knew about this place! What a benefit to be able to recycle the old and get new ones for what look like (to me) a very reasonable price. Plus, now no more worries about anyone getting cut on the discards! Even though I wrap them and tape them securely, it's always a worry to discard them. Thank you for this address!

I also use them and love them. If I had to buy Olfa blades again, I would be out of luck. I am on my 2nd year using them and have not had any problems.

no problems here at all

Don't forget that they offer a money back guarantee. As of yet, I have not heard of one person who returned their blades....but there have been lots of complaints over the past few years. I have bought many of them and even sold then to board members who do not have a Harbor Freight store in their area. So far, all have been good.
MONEY BACK GUARANTEE means....TAKE THEM BACK AND GET A REFUND..if you are not satisfied!
