I have not tried any purses but would really like to and since I love this fabric anyhow...I was thinking of getting the quilt if you think it is not too complicated for me.

In October I went on a quilting retreat and the lady who was next to me made this purse. It was adorable and the pattern in on my list to buy because it came out beautifully and was a great size.

I have seen that purse done in many different fabrics and it is a beautiful pattern. Actually, one that I want to do for myself. A friend made herself one and I just adore it.

I was signed up a week ago to take a class on making this tote. Due to teh snow, they cancelled, but the class is going to be rescheduled.
The sample purse in the shop was reallly a nice size, just the right anount of pockets for me, and not too big. I don't usually carry a tote/purse anymore, but this one caught my eye. The class cost $30.00 plus fabric and supplies. I already have the fabric so I think I will still take the class just to get some pointers and to get out of the house. |
I made this last summer and thought it worked up rather easily. However, I do remember thinking that it was a good thing I had some prior sewing experience.

Hello:
I have one cut and that was easy. The pattern is written well. Many of my quild members made them for Christmas gifts. I know you can do this bag. They had a local hardware cut a pexiglass bottom. |
Hi, it is a great pattern. I have made alot of them for gifts and have 3 listed for sale.
