Couldn't you just measure the templates Judy provided and use those measurements for rotary cutting?

The Log Cabin Hidden Stars pattern is really easy to do and worth the effort. Here is one I made 2 years ago and donated to our community quilt program after displaying it in our local guild's quilt show.

As far as I can see.... So long as your half square triangles are the same size it should work out. I really this. Think I'll make a crib quilt variation. Thanks for sharing everyone.

I made one over 4 yrs ago that I expected to give away but hubby liked it too much so it's on our bed
in the north. It was from the Judy Martin book which I like. Good luck!
