Would love to have Simply Quilts back. I taped all the shows everyday (because I couldn't remember the steps, measurements, etc). So glad I did, I have 15 Video tapes (6 hrs each) I guard them with my life LOL
Alex is on to other things, but the reruns would be valuable to quilters, her guests were the best of the best. I wonder how has the rights to those shows, her or HGTV Hmmm.... Would she get a piece of the action if they showed reruns, another hmmm... Contract negotiations could be a nightmare, unless HGTV owns everything. I signed up though, here's hoping it works.

I agree with you, those channels show so many of the same show over again, there is room for the quilting and sewing, knitting and craft shows. I have sent messages to the them. I could even host the shows, I am not great but I know enough to keep the show interseting. I know it is a nerve wracking job but it can be done.

We never had or I never saw them here on HGTV but they were on CreateTV and they rotated 3 of them thru out the week at the same times each day. Now It's mostly knitting and only a couple of sewing/quilting shows. It sucks.

Well, I tried to help out and figured I was in trouble when it asked for my zip code. I am in Canada. A survey about the site popped up so thought I could get my request in that way. Nope! It asked me two questions, what year I was born and what country I lived in. When I clicked on Canada it said thanks the survey is done. Sorry, I guess I should have answered U.S. and maybe I could have helped you all out:hunf:

Getting right to it, good of you to get us going.

I just sent my comments. I told them how quilters had contacted Walmart repeatedly asking them to bring back fabric in their stores. It took several years, but they heard us, and now many Walmarts are carrying fabric again! I told them that if they gave us a quilting show, we would be watching it! Let's hope!

What a wonderful suggestion. Count me in!
