Hello!
Has anyone seen anything like this? I want to make a very good friend a lap quilt using the stack n whack kaleidoscope method and she breeds lurcher dogs. If anyone sees any around, please let me know. Ideally a medium print with a large repeat of the pattern. Thanks! K x |
I have never heard of Lurcher. Had to Google it.
Guess ya learn something new everyday, huh? But, I don't have any doggie fabric. :( |
Sorry - I wasn't scrounging! I want to buy it, I need 4 or 5 yards depending on the repeat. A lurcher is a cross between a greyhound or wolfhound and a collie. Here's a link http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/images15...PhotoPenny.JPG
They differ quite a lot but my friend's look something like this. I know it's a long shot but I got a bee in my bonnet and thought one of you may have seen something on your travels! K x |
Thanks Loretta - I hadn't found that one, yes I've been a-googlin'! Had a look, some greyhounds but only b&w. I might have to go with a generic doggy fabric but I'm not ready to give up on lurchers just yet! Thanks again for your help!
K x PS I gave your love to England!!! |

K, just looked up what a lurcher is. I have never heard of them. What a neat looking dog, and from what I read, they are fun and loving.

HAD to check this thread because I had no idea what a "lurcher" was. Cute dog, love the fuzzy face.
