Looks like I will be spending some time on line....For those that wrote with questions....I have a modern home, no curtains, lots of windows I live in the country so no neighbors. Ceiling is 18 feet up there. looks good but a real PIA to paint at my age.
I am wanting to make a large lap quilt to snuggle under when watching tv. quilt should be on simple or modern side....I have a huge (6ft by 6fT) appliqued quilt of a black stallion leaping thru the air on a red mottled background on one wall and several pictures done in pencil of trees or windmills...one large glass mosiac tile hanging done in reds, blues, yellows, orange and green...looks like sun setting....by the way my window wall 12ft faces west and I get to watch the sun set.
I am a lucky woman. I designed my home and had it built about 13yrs ago and I still love it. To all that love my colors I too wish you lived closer. It's hard to find many around here that aren't traditional quilters.
