Will definitely go the homeless, disaster, and soldier route, but they'll probably be easier quilts until my comfort level improves.
I'm still in shock. |

I'm still in shock. This quilt looks really difficult, but its not. I just finished my first one, got another one ready to cut out. http://www.byannie.com/media/images/...s_patterns.pdf Sharon W. |
Thanks Sharon, looks like something I could handle.

Wow what a great purchase you made! I don't always prewash before quilting but I do test for color running. Especially a red color. I cut a small 2"X2" piece and soak it in a cup of boiling water to see if the color is going to run.
You should also check out the Quiltville.com site. Her scrappy quilts are great. I have made a few and they are a great way to use those strips you have that are already cut. |

I wouldn't wash strips and small squares. Too much of a headache.

Yup, found that out the hard way. I accidently threw a couple in the wash. Never again, I hope.
