Maybe this is what you are looking for. Google stack-n-slash and you more than likely will find more.

I've done this one before! So, sew easy. Just remember, that if you cut a 9 inch block they are only going to be able to square up to a 7 1/2 because you are not allowing for any seam allowances. It looks like a mosaic . Use as many fabrics as you want, just turn them before you sew each together.

Did you mean tube piecing? Here's a link to the Missouri Quilt you tube tutorial.

It's called stack and slash. You dont match the pattern like you do with a stack and whack. You just stack the fabrics and cut them and then rearrange the blocks and sew them together.

There is a pattern called Fat Quarter Shuffle that uses this technique using fat quarters. It makes a quilt similar to Yellow Brick road. It's fast, easy and fun.

Stack and whack.... there's a method to it, and yes... it can be really easy (like a S&W 9 patch block) or really hard. Check out the tutorials on this site, and the ones on youtube. It's fun!

I have 2 patterns, bought maybe 7 or 8 years ago, called Kwik Scrappy Star and Kwik Crazy Patch by Two Kwik Quilters,122 Batchelors Trail. Jacksonville,NC28546. Very good instructions and fun to make. Start with 12 inch squares and finish with a 9 inch block. I think anyone who knows the technique could make their own designs (I'm not that clever!)

Stack the Deck by Karla Alexander. Here's her website http://www.saginawstreetquilts.com.

I love using this technique to make crazy quilts with the QAYG method. So much fun.
