I vote for the scrappy or a multicolor stripe binding cut on the bias so it has that spiral look. You did a fantastic job, just love it! The recipient is a fortunate person!

It is absolutely gorgeous! I would leave it just as it is.
Love your brightly colored and cheerful quilts.
What a beautiful quilt! It's so cheerful.
No border, bind in orange.
Beautiful work!!!

That's awesome. What is the name of the pattern, I would love to do one too.
I say don't put a border on it. It looks so adorable as is.
really like your quilt!! love the idea of scrapy binding. I have done a scrapy binding on several quilts and really like the result.
I just love this playful quilt. Size should dictate to border or not. It sure looks great as is...you could lay strips of border on one side and look and see if it makes a diff or not.
I would put a little print border on it like boxes or dots with the colors that are in the quilt. Edie

Unless you need it to be larger, why add more. It is wonderful eye candy as is!
I love it the way it is. The sashing already makes the outside border.
I love & want this quilt!!
It don't think it needs a border but if it me, I would put a multi-colored piano key border. Would make your lighthouses reall *POP* |
Wow!!! What a unique quilt. I love it. I would just bind it and call it finished.
Definitely needs a border. It's beautiful but it's like a picture without a frame.

Cute just the way it is.

I think the sashing works as a border. Add a border in darker blue if you want the finished quilt bigger. Bind in a dark blue.
love it just as is. think the border would detract from the blocks.
I love it just the way it is. It is sooooo cute. You did a good job.

I wouldn't border it if it is large enough as is. the sashing gives enough border. By the way, that is one beautiful quilt.
Looks perfect to me right now!!!~! Very cute.
Good luck, Kutnso |
It's perfect the way it is.
Very cute....I like the idea of pieced border using leftovers from light-houses if needing to make it bigger, but looks great as is also.
I love it just the way it is!
I would add a small white binding
I love it just the way it is :)

I love it the way it is.

You can do whatever feels good to you. A matching border would add "something", but surely it doesn't need one. Besides, any child would drool to have it just as it is.
Either way, it's beautiful! It would look great in my new condo at the beach!
Seems perfect way it is.
What a fantastic quilt! Funky! I love it!
However you decide to finish it will be wonderful! Katier825 (I think?) yours is great too! Maureen |
What a cute theme. Leaning lighthouses and all things nautical. Whatever you decide will be fine. Would like to see this when it's quilted. Good job.

I would not put a border on your quilt. It looks fine. You have made a beautiful quilt. Jeanniebelle

How cute!! I love it. Looks great just the way it is. Let us know what you decide. Will love to see the pics.
Love the movement in this quilt! I would just bind it unless you want it bigger. great job!
I love it, so much fun. I would leave it alone, nothing needed. If your looking for someone who needs it, you can always send it to me. LOL
