There may also be yardage of that plaid in that line of fabric.

I was hoping for a queen size but will settle for full if queen would be "too much" for that panel.

All of these are good and you could add some flying geese too.

Oh yes I have used the quilters cache.com for a lot of paper piecing blocks. Its a great site. The panel has only 2 or 3 more in that "Calling in the Herd" collection but will check again. I definitely like the tree idea and did find a block I like. I am so glad I posted the picture for help..there are so many talented quilters here.

How about flying geese in the brown and turquoise colors?

I like that panel, maybe a star pattern with flying geese.

I saw a quilt on this board today that had a similar look, only it was a bear. Whoever made it had made it for her husband. It had a large panel in the center and she had finished it beautifully.

I tried a search for it, but I guess I didn't ask right. Maybe someone else will remember it and guide you to it?

Raggiemom I definitely want to put flying geese and I want to use that turquoise (or close to it) in them. I am finally starting to get a picture in my head on where I want to go.

Oh I would love to see that...what did you put in for a search?
