My husband of 46 years has never taken an interest in my hobbies. I think I would like him to so we could do things together, but his hobby is sitting in his recliner, watching old western movies. I get a good chuckle when I think back a few years ago when I set out a strawberry patch. He watched me planting, spreading straw until he got tired. He went to the shed, got a lawn chair and brought it out by the patch to watch me. As we were going in that evening he made the remark that he sure enjoyed doing things with me. LOL

My husband gives praise when he likes a particular quilt I'm working on. He helps me when my machine is acting up. He starts my thread rolls when I can't find the beginning. He prints patterns for me when my computer is acting up (see a technology issue here?). He comes into my sewing room and laughs at me surrounded by tables, and then goes on his merry way to do whatever it is he does.
