1 yard of of 2.5 inch strips willl yeild 16 strips. It takes about 9 strips to bind a queen. Depending on the size. If I have strips left over I use it for strip quilting or add it to binding for another quilt.
I do enjoy binding with striped material. Its different look.

I collect strips and odd prints for bindings. I have a large jar where all my left over binding strips go. I just bound 2 charity baby quilts with all left over bindings.
