When people see a "quilt" advertised for $59.99 for any size - they think that something "home made" should cost less.

Although if paying for custom cabinets or something generally associated with "male" things like welding, they don't seem to mind coming up with the money.

Go figure.

I'm going to complete the quilt and then sell it... I'm just tired of my mom saying, "I think you should finish the quilt, I don't think anyone will buy it if its not done." Tried explaining it to her, but she doesn't get it... its allright. i'll finish it.

at our local farmers market there is a lady who sells quilts all day long about the size you stated, with poly batt & backing...she sells them for $45 each. double your costs and try, but i don't know how well it will sell, it really depends on LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. i spent one summer selling (beach quilts) they were about 60" x 72" we sold about 40 of them for $125 each...(at the same market as the $45 lady...it just depends. good luck

Maybe "beach quilts" sounds more "fun" and so people were willing to pay more?

Pics really would help.....and you will need a pic when you post them to sell.

I was thinking about making those... A nice soft top but the bottom more durable. Maybe put a weight in the corners to keep it flying away.
