Oh, I didn't say that I go to "What's New?" Don't enjoy the automatic connection as much because it seems to be a rehash of older things. Not sure how that is determined.... by number of responses???

The first thing I do in the morning is open the board. I go down the line as listed, and I spend at least an hour, and several times during the day, I will open it again to see if I missed anything!
|
I let my cute dogs out, get my coffee and read the quiltboard for about an hour. Love it! :)
|
Usually my first stop when I open my e-mail at work. I move through the latest new topics, then the pictures, then look very quickly at swaps, recipes and off. Seldom more than 20 minutes. What really takes my time is looking at links for new patterns or getting caught watching the latest Missouri Quilt tutorial! I love them and book mark many but they are a constant distraction. Some days I really would rather be . . . . quilting! :)

I spend about 2 hours each day and my first stop is the Items for Sale.
|
When I come online, I get everything else done as quickly as posible then come to the quilting board so i can savour it. i come to your wonderful questions first, then i go to the gorgeous pictures, then any thing else that may catch my eye. Thanks to all!

I mainly only come here at work, use my evenings for quilty things. Whenever I'm not busy I check out the quiltboard. I go to private diary, chit chat, main and then pictures. If there isn't anything I'm interested in then I check tutorials and sometimes blogs. I work for my Husband so I can.

I usually log on around 3pm and treat myself to at least a couple of hours at QB. It may take longer if there is more I'm interested in and nothing good on TV. I have been using the automated e-mail thing, but I may start logging on and reading the most recent posts. I enjoy most of the threads and posts. I read most threads all the way through and follow links. It is a real addiction, but I figure since, I'm retired I can do it if I want to. :>)
|
I am an early riser but like most, I enjoy a cup of coffee with QB... but only spend about 30 minutes on the board keeping up on current posts and recent photos and after being motivated by other quilters... I power up my Janome to work on my projects. I have a full-time job so I am limited on the amount of time I can work on my machine.

i spend about 2 hours in the early morning before i go back to bed. i get the email at 6 am. first, i check out the items for sale. next, i go to the archive "main" and look at all of the topics. i click on the ones that look interesting. i start at the bottom and go up. i always click on the last one for that day so i know where to start the next time.
