If you only charge $4, people do not respect all the work you have put it into it including the little personalized "extras" you did. People often think that b/c it is homemade, it should be cheaper. I find that is not the usual case. Charging $4 is a give away. Your purse is very cute and worth around $10 or more if the economy of your area can support it.

No less than $10.00
I get $10 for the ones I design myself.
$10, maybe 8 for a friend, you have to think of cost of materials
the buttons alone are going to cost half of what you say you might charge.
Check out your costs and your time and give yourself a bit of profit. They are adorable......and $10. I think, would be minimum |
My mom always told me that your time is worth something.
So, if the patterns cost three dollars, the fabric costs one dollar than you must make a formula (like three times the cost of the material) to determine you costs. Remember handmade in the USA is special. Handmade in the third world country not so much |
I am not sure what I would charge, never having made one, probably $8.00-$10.00, but I do know $4.00 is not enough!
I think $10 would be a good price. Your work and fabric choices are great!
I'd pay $10 for one.
think about how much time you put in; even if it only takes you an hour to do at $4 take away the cost of materials so how much does that leave you making per hour; I'm guessing less than a $1 an hour. Would you work for anyone for that wage? Even if it is for family or friends.
